Carwood Carwash in Lakewood owned by same company as El Pollo Loco.
There was some reservation late last year about who owns the Carwood Carwash, which is located directly to the east of the Lakewood El Pollo Loco currently being boycotted for its owner donating to the passage of Prop 8. Nobody was really sure that the same person owned both businesses. So, today I phoned Carwood Carwash and asked outright if the owners were the same. The answer I received was "yes".
I just want to let everyone who is boycotting the El Pollo Loco to also avoid doing business with the carwash.
